What is AIESEC?
AIESEC is a global non-profit organisation that focuses on developing leadership skills in young people through international exchange and cultural understanding.
Originally founded in 1948 in France, AIESEC now operates in over 120 countries and territories, providing opportunities for young people to participate in international internships, volunteer experiences, and leadership development conferences.
The organisation is run by students, known as members, who gain practical leadership experience by organising and participating in AIESEC’s activities. AIESEC’s mission is to create a more peaceful and understanding world by fostering cross-cultural communication and cooperation among young people.
